  • Husqvarna WR250 from 1972.
This bike was raced in the early 70’s Southern California’s District 37 desert races and possibly also in the Baja 500.
The bike comes from an estate sale and unfortunately the documentation was lost. So no records of who was the exact racer who rode this bike back then.
The bike was imported by Don Vesco in El Cajon. The original dealer invoice could be obtained on request from a third party who has these records archived.
The bike is unrestored and apart from new number plates and a new rear fender, it’s completely as raced in the 70’s. That includes the race modifications that have been done back then, which include:
    – Rear swingarm customized.
    – Mulholland rear shocks.
    – Solid aluminum handle bars.
    – Compression release valve in the cilinder head.
    – Custom made air valves in the front fork.
    – Custom made skid plate.
The bike starts and runs well. It goes through the gears smooth as it should.
The brakes work well and the front and rear suspension don’t have leaks.
Front tire is an original NOS Trelleborg tire.
    NOS Magura grips.
The paint looks to be original and the tank is in good condition. No rust inside.
The bike is well preserved and a good candidate for restoration, but I would advise to keep as it is to preserve it’s desert race history.
It looks great with the original 50 year old race patina.
I can have the bike shipped to you for an extra fee. That also includes shipping to Europe.
Can also drop the bike off at your shipping company of choice in the Southern California region.
